ROB Gronkowski believes legendary head coach Bill Belichick will stick around with the New England Patriots, but it comes with a catch.
The Patriots icon’s theory didn’t sit well with Kay Adams during her FanDuel TV show on Wednesday.

Despite reports of the six-time Super Bowl champion losing his position after Week 18, the Patriots have not announced any moves regarding Belichick.
Gronkowski, who won three Super Bowls as a tight end for Belichick in New England, appeared on the Up & Adams Show on Wednesday.
They spoke about Belichick and what his future entails.
The 34-year-old Gronkowski argued that Belichick can return as the Patriots head coach if he gives up his general manager role.
“If I think Coach Belichick can get some help within the organization and [give] up the role of being a general manager, just imagine how good of a coach he can be,” he told Adams.
“They’re going to bring a different general manager in and Belichick just coaches the crap out of his players and be a well-solid team next year.”
Gronkowski’s idea came after Belichick told reporters on Monday that he’s open to giving up personnel control.
However, Kay wasn’t keen on the 71-year-old making such a drastic move.
“That would be the dream,” Adams said. “But you know Bill Belichick, be real with me.”
She then mentioned Belichick’s “healthy ego” and that she doesn’t have “faith” in Gronkowski’s theory panning out.
Gronkowski then pointed to his former coach’s “track record” as a reason why the move could work out.
During the show, Adams joked about Patriots players, like Gronkowski and Tom Brady, who returned to the NFL after an initial retirement.
“What is it with you New England gentleman and the inability to make a decision?” Adams said.
Gronkowski responded and shared how it isn’t easy to retire from the NFL, and that haste decisions based on high emotions can’t be made.
He shared a lesson that Belichick told him and other Patriots players.
“I’ll tell you this, what’s so hard about walking away? Coach Belichick always engraved in us, ‘hey don’t make a decision a week or two after the season,'” Gronk said.
“Because the emotions are flying high. The emotions are the emotions right there, they haven’t settled in yet.”
